Keith F Martin, PhD, MRPharmS, Chief Executive Officer:

Angie Jamison, Quality & Technical Director
Angie Jamison is a private consultant with a background in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality assurance.
She specialises in QA management for smaller drug development companies especially as they prepare for their first clinical studies. Her areas of expertise include:

Katie Macdonald CA, Finance Director & Company Secretary
Katie Macdonald is a senior finance professional and Chartered Accountant with 15 years’ experience, including 6 years in a senior role at a FTSE250 biotech/pharmaceutical company, followed in 2002 by the incorporation of PharmaFinance Ltd , a vehicle which provides Virtual Finance Director and Company Secretarial services to small Biotech companies.

In addition, Apitope has contracted with Oxford Therapeutics Consulting to provide medical advice and medical monitor services. The services are performed by the company’s chief executive, Dr Jan Steiner.

Dr Jan Steiner has a background in clinical pharmacology and clinical development in both blue chip and start up pharmaceutical companies.

Board of Directors

Richard Daniels, Chairman

Mr Daniels is Head of the Richard Daniels Group of companies and has over 45 years of experience in the building industry and is currently on the Board of Directors of several companies.
The Richard Daniels Group has grown into property development building houses, factories, shops, supermarkets, doctors’ surgeries and has employed up to 200 people.
Richard’s skills have developed by hands on management of the business based on setting and delivering absolute precise objectives of all the undertakings he has been involved with over the years.

Dr Geoffrey Vernon, Non Executive Director

Geoffrey has over twenty years experience in healthcare. His operational experience was gained with Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals, Schering Chemicals Ltd and Travenol Laboratories Ltd and in fund management in the City with Rothschild’s and Advent. During the past decade Geoffrey has established a successful track record in the role of Chairman or NED during his association with more than 28 healthcare companies in France, Germany, Austria, Ireland, the UK and the USA. In the case of both Oxford GlycoSciences and MorphoSys he made a significant contribution to the growth of the companies, where valuations increased significantly via flotations on the LSE and Neur Markt respectively to in excess of $1 billion.
Geoffrey is currently Chairman of two UK quoted companies. He is also an NED of a number of companies based in Germany, Israel, Ireland and in the UK.
He holds B.Pharm, Ph.D., and MBA degrees and he is a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of GB and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors. He has extensive international corporate governance experience in both private and public companies and in December 1999 Geoffrey was the first Director in the UK to be accredited with the professional qualification of Chartered Director. This qualification is awarded by the Institute of Directors after an in-depth assessment of the candidate’s experience at Board level.

Sharon Finch, Non Executive Director

Sharon is the founder of Medius Associates and has more than 20 years proven experience as an international pharmaceutical business development manager and consultant. She has extensive experience of identifying, creating, implementing and directing international business opportunities. Ms Finch also has experience of negotiating and drafting a wide range of agreements with both global and national pharmaceutical companies.
Previous industry experience includes business development appointments in the Wellcome Foundation Ltd (Wellcome Research and Wellcome Diagnostics); at Medeva plc and Ono Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd.

Dr Neil Bradshaw, Non Executive Director

Dr Bradshaw is currently director of the Enterprise at the University of Bristol and has a PhD in physical chemistry from the University of Manchester and an MBA from Warwick. He has many years experience working at the interface between research and industry. Dr Bradshaw has grounding in economic development and business support at regional and national level, as well as knowledge of the high technology markets in Europe, Japan and the USA.
